This morning we woke up to more snow. John set off for his Cat Skiing expedition at 7.30am -
I jumped in a cab and headed off to Scandinave Spa (google it - its breathtaking and no cameras allowed not to mention no talking)!!!
Stayed from about 10am till 3pm had an hour massage which was wonderful. When i went back outside to the spas i bumped into Suzie (another skiier john knows from central coast and Jacinta who is PJs wife) - gotta tell you we found the no speak thing difficult and Suzie got "shushed" lol.
Wonderful dinner last night at Shushi House - mmm what to eat tonight!
John at the GLC (bar) with his buddies analysing the cat ski expedition i expect...
I have attached some photos from the entrance into the spa - it was like little red riding hood with snow. Also photos of Mick, John, Roger and Lincoln on the Peak 2 Peak (google it), a photo of me with PJ. Lincoln and Crossie

Phew what a day!!!
Had a wonderful day - made it down some "black" runs - which in normal speak are the hard runs. John, Crossie and I had a warm up run before i met up with "my Margie" - Amber has also joined our little group of 2 making us 3 - we are having a great time the three of us girls and if we could just slot in a mani or pedi into our lunchbreak we would truly be in heaven!!!
Have i mentioned how much i love my new skis??? Today "edging" - again i believe that is a technical term but i like to think of it as "big toe / little toe"
Bit of snow up there today with a gusty wind - i have attached a photo (with Canadian flags) and you cant even ser the mountains -17 degrees
Drinks this afternoon and a wander thru the village - off to Sushi Villiage tonight with the crew -
John is cat skiing tomorrow and Bugs is fighting fit so he will be on board for that - i am booked into Scandinave Spa at 11.30am ready for skiing again on Thursday!

Fingers crossed!!!
Everything crossed that Bugsy will be repaired / rested enough to ski tomorrow after his dance lesson with the tree on Saturday - the boys are Cat Skiing on Wednesday and it wouldnt be the same without Bugsy (dont panic mum i am not participating in that event - i think i am visiting the scandanavian spa that day for a massage) xxx
Tired but happy!
Big day again...skied all day feeling more confident as the days roll by - new adventures today - over to Symphony for a change where lots if laughs were had - i also made my OWN way back down the mountain to the village like a big girl!!!
John skiied his butt off - so much so that he finished the day off in the bar while i shopped - and drank mocha
Lots of scenic photos for you to see today

Sunday but no sleep in for us
Up at 7am to catch a cab to Creekside - caught the gondola up and met my beautiful Margie
It was a magical day - blue ski - huge sun - it is so so quiet up there.
Persisistence on Friday in the snow storm paid off because today it all felt so easy - so under Margie's watchful eye we took on some new challenges (or adventures as she calls them) - great fun and my new skis were great (and match my boots beautufully which is always important i think) - true to my paranoia of losing things or things being stolen we stopped and bought a lovely orange lock so they are nice and safe while in in the "round house" eating my chilli at lunchtimes!!!
Home for a quick spa and now heading upstairs for dinner and laughs with friends!
PS its not all about Margie and I - John is still here in Whistler and is having a grand time with his buddies - skiing and trying out different skis
Another big day on the mountain tomorrow....

Shattered !
Well today i had longer skis which was a bit of a struggle but my balance was way improved (according to Margie) - I was NOT prepared for how much different it would be to ski while the snow was falling so heavily and the wind was blowing so hard I couldnt see where i was going - anyway the chilli at lunchtime seemed to give me more bravado and i managed to finish the day (quite well if i say do myself) 🎿🎿🎿
Snow very heavy and i have attached another photo of the view from the room so you can see the difference
I have attached a photo of our balcony - not sure to put my towel while in the hot tub!!!!
John and I on the lift
